Recently we were asked to supply our Premium Organic Tiger Nuts to a new start up company, they are Tiger Butter Co, and when we saw the terrific product we wanted to find out a little more about it.
Well the company was started by an amazing young lady, Kristen Waters and here is her story in her words:
Behind The Butter
Tiger Butter is an allergen friendly treat in a jar that is empowered by nutrition.
I have struggled with allergies and sensitivities for awhile and I know how hard it is to find a healthy product that fits my needs. Nuts weren't always an issue for me, but when my digestive system went haywire they became one. I always would grab a spoon and some nut butter for a treat. I realized nuts and seeds were making my symptoms worse so I stopped ingesting them for a period of time.
During this time that my body was healing I developed Tiger Butter. I started messing around with tigernuts (a root veggie!) and made it into a butter. It wasn't until three months after eating it myself that I realized so many people could benefit from a product like this!
