Because both of our English heritage, we wanted to wish you and your family a "Happy Boxing Day", but then we thought that the chances are you would not know what the heck "Boxing Day" is.
So here goes:
A 'Christmas Box' in Britain is a name for a Christmas present. Boxing Day was traditionally a day off for servants and the day when they received a 'Christmas Box' from the master. The servants would also go home on Boxing Day to give 'Christmas Boxes' to their families.
That was how it used to be, but today however, it is a day that is much more casual than Christmas Day and basically a way of having another Christmas meal by using all of the leftovers from the day before. Then going down the pub to see your mates, followed by watching a football match on TV and then sleeping it all off!
It's been a good year for many around the world, so just let your breath out, maybe your belt too and just relax for one day!
